I have been a licensed Realtor for more than ten years, and share your views exactly! I have recently changed my occupation because of all the "hype" with the need to use a Realtor.
I agree there is WAY too much manipulation and I have always refused to use the standard real estates sales tactics. Needless to say, I'm haven't made a whole lot of friends with the local top producers.
