Luremaking is nowhere near as difficult as many people imagine. I started almost 2 decades ago in my early teenage years. Back then I yearned to try the glistening Nilsmasters and Rapalas that adourned the tackleshop walls. It was the hefty price tags that forced me to start making my own. My first attempts weren't that hot, but with a little practice I found I could make lures that were serviceable. I also found that luremaking could be just as addictive as fishing.
